Graphics
Images displayed by AOL users may sometimes not appear as intended since AOL compresses all web graphics.  You need to turn off this compression.

  1. Locate and click on the "My AOL" button at the top of your browser.

  2. Locate and click on "Preferences".

  3. Locate and click on "www" near the middle of your top row of your available preferences.

  4. Locate and click on "Graphics" tab.

  5. Notice the checkmark in the box on the left of "Use Compressed Graphics"?

  6. REMOVE the checkmark by clicking on it.

  7. Click "OK" button and you are ready to go!

Refresh
The refresh button in AOL may not always display the most recent changes to a web page.  Just hold down the CTRL key and click your refresh button at the same time.
