Do-It-Yourselfers: Before submitting your site,
verify that
your site is optimized for best placement in the
search engines. For example make sure you have your
meta tags in place (i.e. title, description,
keywords).
If you are unsure of how to optimize your site, we can
do this for you for an additional
charge. |

PLEASE NOTE:
Some search
engines and directories take up to 6 months to index sites. If your site is reviewed by humans, such as Yahoo and others, then there is no guarantee of placement.
Some engines charge fees to list your site. Also, in some cases,
the nature of your site determines whether search engines will
rank it for free. For example, Yahoo now charges a fee to
review a business site for placement. In addition, we cannot guarantee where or when you will be ranked on any search engine or directory.
Make sure you have your website ready for submission and optimized
before
getting your site submitted. There are several factors that
influence your ranking, all different on each search engine. In
general, this includes: meta tags for the title, description, and
keywords. The number of times the keyword phrases are included in
the body text, the hyperlink text, the url name itself, the images, and the
image alt text, even the number of words and how many pages can
effect your ranking.
